Have you ever thought about going on a solo adventure, but hesitation and fear of the unknown held you back? In this episode of La Sportive Outdoor – Sport Outdoor au féminin, Laurène Philippot welcomes Sibylle Codet, photographer and travel blogger on Nos Coeurs Voyageurs, who tells us about her first solo bikepacking experience. Through her story, Sybille takes us to the Somme valley, where she dared to embark on a two-day microadventure by bike.

Sibylle shares her initial doubts and hesitation about traveling alone, and then explains how she chose a familiar route to feel safe while confronting the unknown. The preparations for her adventure, the choice of her equipment and the challenges she faced are all elements on which it is interesting to hear her testimony.

Her story encourages all women, sporty or not, to dare to step out of their comfort zone if they feel like it but don’t yet dare to take the plunge!
